Avaya IPBS1 IP DECT R4 base station ideal for extending DECT coverage onto an existing deployment or replacement for a faulty unit.

The Avaya DECT R4 Radio Base Station is an indoor IP DECT radio base station with an internal antenna.

Please Note

For Avaya DECT firmware 10.0 and higher, supported with IP Office Release 10.0 and higher, IPBS1 base stations are only supported as slave radio base stations . IPBS1 base stations are no longer supported in other roles, for example as master base stations.

For systems being upgraded, any existing IPBS1 base station being used as master base station must first be replaced in that role with an Avaya IPBS2 IP DECT R4 basestation.

The Avaya IPBS1 base stations are fully interoperable with Avaya IPBS2 basestations and the IP DECT Gateway solution.
