Avaya 3735 Design

The Avaya 3735 handset has a TFT color display with 262K colors. The handset display size is 2.0 inches with white LED backlight. The display backlight helps to operate and use the handset in complete darkness.

Phonebook

It has an internal phonebook with a storage capacity of 250 contacts. An additional 1,000 entries can be downloaded from a local company phonebook. Users can also access a centralized phonebook in order to search for other contacts on demand. The handset shall be able to automatically register towards the IP-DECT system at start-up give extra protection to a registration during the registration procedure.

Advanced messaging

Besides excellent telephony, its advanced messaging capabilities make it ideal for interacting with colleagues and even automated equipment. It is available with professional messaging (Standard version) and to an advanced model that includes personal alarm capabilities (Alarm version). The handset is more than a telephony and messaging handset. It also features an alarm button that can be used / configured to trigger duress calls. DECT location functionality means colleagues are notified of the handset’s location—making the Avaya 3735 particularly suitable for lone workers.

Bluetooth

Avaya Wireless Handset 3735 supports Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP) version 1.6 to allow using Bluetooth headsets with the handset. The handset supports the call setup service including Basic Push To Talk (PTT Voice). The Basic PTT is presented as an incoming call when setup. Acoustic localization signal (ALS) is possible to configure the handset when an alarm is activated.

Centralized management

Avaya Wireless Handset 3735 supports centralized management. Using the Avaya In-building Wireless Server (AIWS2), software updates and parameter synchronizations are easily administered over the air.
Settings for each handset are stored and administered centrally.

Audio features

Avaya Wireless Handset 3735 has duplex loud speaking function to enable use as a conference phone at 1.5 m distance or closer to the handset. For connecting headsets there is a 3.5mm jack connection available.

Battery life

Avaya Wireless Handset 3730 has a battery lifetime up to 20 hours of talk time and 235 hours of standby time.

The minimum software version of the Avaya Dect environment (Read: transmitters / base stations) must be Software Edition 6. (Software Edition 6 was released around 2014/2015 by Avaya)
