TP-Link's EAP225-Outdoor is a wireless access point with a durable, weatherproof housing for outdoor. This TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor access point has a high transmission power and 2 antennas, so users experiencing an excellent wireless connection outdoors. For example, you can provide your garden, your outdoor area, a complete campsite or recreation area with wireless internet.

Intelligent and flexible

Omada EAPs are equipped with Mesh technology (connection from access point to next access point) and automatically choose the best route to flexibly increase your WiFi range.
If a link between access points does not work, the system automatically redirects the data via the other Omada access points so that you stay online and experience a stable connection.

Omada-serie

The TP-Link Omada EAP225-Outdoor is part of the Omada EAP series. TP-Link offers with Omada a business wireless network solution that is flexible, secure and easy to implement. The Omada series access points are easy to manage via the Omada Cloud Controller, the Omada Software Controller and the intuitive Omada app. This allows users to remotely manage entire Omada networks. In addition, the Omada access points are equipped with captive portal options. Because SMS and Facebook authentication is also possible, it becomes even easier for guests to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Designed for outdoor

Specially designed for outdoor with a weatherproof housing.
After several tests, the device has been rated IP65, which means that the housing is splash-proof, dustproof and protects the access points against all weather conditions. The access point also meets ESD safety requirements of 15kV and has a 6kV lightning protection.

You can easily mount the EAP225-Outdoor on the wall or a pole with the supplied mounting system.

The TP-Link EAP225 is available in three variants.

1. EAP225-OUTDOOR AC1200 for outdoor mounting with external antennas and a waterproof housing (class IP65 waterproof)
2. EAP225-WALL AC1200 for wall mounting. This access point can be mounted on an 86mm wall box. The network connection at the back of the access point will then be completely out of sight.
3. EAP225 AC1350 for wall and ceiling mounting

Equipped with the latest 802.11ac Wave 2  2x2 MIMO technology, the EAP225-Outdoor simultaneously delivers Wi-Fi speeds of 300 Mbps1 at 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps1 at 5 GHz to multiple devices simultaneously.

Seamless roaming

802.11k / 802.11v enables seamless roaming and automatically switches the WiFi connection when moving registered clients to the access point with the most optimal signal. This allows sensitive applications such as VoIP and video conferencing to continue uninterrupted.

Multiple power supply options for easy installation

The EAP225-Outdoor supports 802.3af PoE to be powered by a PoE switch or the included passive PoE power supply.

Easily manage and monitor hundreds of TP-Link Omada access points and switches from a single location. The free included TP-Link Omada Controller software offers an intuitive management interface. Monitor and map the entire network from any connected PC or from the Cloud. There are no extra costs and no special training. Wi-Fi management and management has never been more cost effective and convenient.

Optionally there is an “out of the box” hardware controller (the OC200 or OC300) solution available with embedded TP-Link Omada Controller software.
