Up to 4 WAN gigabit ports to optimize bandwidth utilization

Three interchangeable ports can be set as WAN or LAN port, allowing the router to support up to four WAN ports. This allows you to use various options for internet access using one device. Multi-WAN Load Balancing feature distributes data streams based on the bandwidth of each WAN port to increase multi-line broadband usage rate.

VPN functionality with high security level

The TL-R605 VPN supports the IPsec and PPTP VPN protocols and can also handle IPsec / PPTP / L2TP pass-through traffic. It has a built-in hardware-based VPN engine, allowing the router to support and manage up to 20 LAN-to-LAN IPsec and 16 PPTP VPN connections. Advanced VPN features include: DES / 3DES / AES128 / AES192 / AES256 encryption, MD5 / SHA1 authentication, manual / IKE key management and Main / Aggressive negotiation modes.

Extensive safety functions

The TL-R605 has the SPI Firewall function to defend against external attacks. In addition, it can automatically detect and block Denial of Service (DoS) attacks such as TCP / UDP / ICMP Flooding, Ping of Death and other related threats. In addition, the router has IP / MAC / domain name filtering functions, so that attacks from intruders and viruses are strongly stopped. For applications such as FTP, TFTP, H.323 and RTSP, which are not well compatible with NAT, the TL-R600VPN offers system administrators one-click enabling ALG choices corresponding to the four applications listed above.

Internet Access Management Strategy

Standardize users’ online behavior and easily specify the internet access rights and strategies of employee via IP/MAC/URL Filtering and Access Control List (ACL). Captive Portal authentication facilitates network resource control by capturing, authenticating, and classifying user access. Appropriate network resources can also be allocated for particular users or guests.
